In early girlhood I was injured by a terrible fall which caused great pain in my back, from which I suffered for over fifteen years. I tried different doctors and medicines, but found no relief and was growing worse. I could not lie down or walk much; and I had no rest. I finally gave up doctors and medicine, but still suffered until one day a friend told me to try Christian Science. I had a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, but had never read it understandingly, and thought I could not get any understanding of it until I was taught its meaning. I therefore sent to a practitioner for treatment; and in about six or seven treatments began to see a change for the better. By learning more of this wonderful truth I lost all pain and misery. Also, by reading and studying the Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly I have gained health to go about my work. Christian Science has helped me not only in this but in many other ways too numerous to mention.
