I am so thankful that I am privileged to be called a Christian Scientist, and to share with others the blessings which have come to me through the application of this truth.
One of the healings I might mention was that of what the world calls itching piles. This disease was with me for about fifteen years before coming into Science, and many times I was unable to attend to business on this account. While I was having treatment for this disease a great mental disturbance came upon me. I therefore left the city where I was then living and went into a practitioner' s home in another city, remaining there two weeks. At the end of that time I was healed of the mental disturbance and went back to my home, and with the aid of the Bible and of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was healed of the above-mentioned disease, and have never had a return of it. The practitioner had done her work through applying the truth to eradicate the thoughts that had been holding me from making my own demonstration a long time before this.
My wife and I have had many beautiful healings through our own efforts, and are glad to express our gratitude for being privileged to be called workers in this Science which will eventually revolutionize the world's way of thinking. What a quieting thought it is to be a Christian Scientist in times of seeming turmoil and stress; to realize that we are one of the vast army of workers in Science, and can say, All is well! — Redondo Beach, California.
