Inexpressible gratitude binds me to Christian Science and to its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy. During many years of suffering I went astray and was near despair. Over six years ago circumstances led me to a Christian Science practitioner, who explained Truth, God, and man as God's reflection, so clearly to me that I was instantaneously healed and have not needed a physician since. The loving help given me enabled me readily to overcome a chronic heart complaint as well as throat difficulty, the so-called Basedow's disease, and intestinal troubles. During the past year I was also healed of chronic hoarseness. I was filled with the assurance that thought must be sick and not the body, and as the reflection of God only the spiritual and perfect man could be expressed. By clinging to this wonderful truth, with perfect confidence in divine Mind, I have been able since then to reject even the severest trials, and this I owe to Christian Science, which frees from the bonds of error.
I am especially grateful for membership in The Mother Church and for class instruction, which has increased my understanding of eternal being and has enabled me to help seekers on the way to Truth.
