My family and I have for many years experienced the blessings of Christian Science, its healing and protection; for which we are most grateful. About four years ago when difficulties seemed overwhelming, I yielded to a sense of distress and worry and drifted into a wretched physical condition. A goiter appeared.
I at once had help from a Christian Science practitioner, but thehealing was very slow. Not until I fully realized the mentalcorrecting I had to do, was there any change in the condition. Very helpful were these lines from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 428): "To divest thought of false trusts and material evidences in order that the spiritual facts of being may appear,—this is the great attainment by means of which we shall sweep away the false and give place to the true." As my thought was corrected, the material evidence slowly disappeared, until none of it remained.—Fabens, Texas
