My heart is filled with gratitude in writing this testimony. For more than fifteen years I had suffered from ill health and many bodily ailments. Several medical authorities to whom I applied for help, while trying their best to heal me, contradicted each other in their diagnoses and opinions. My reliance and hope in medical help were thus shattered before I knew of Christian Science.
The only questions outstanding were, Where shall I go? What can help me? They were questions demanding a speedy answer, as the hour looked very dark. An honest and prominent Jewish physician, the last medical man who treated me, recommended that I try Christian Science, adding that many patients who were pronounced incurable had been successfully treated by Christian Science practitioners.
The study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy brought along one healing after another. Many bodily ailments have been met. Headaches, which used to last for days, have been cleared off in a few minutes by declaring the truth. Whereas everything looked gloomy before, now there is happiness everywhere. Understanding also came to show that the only healer is God, divine Mind.
