WAVER NOT

From the June 1934 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Oh, blest is he who wavers not,
When evil makes it seem
That only ill shall be his lot,
And good is but a dream.

By faith he quiet stands, unmoved
When evil would alarm,
He is of heaven the well-beloved
And nothing can him harm.

By Truth he does in safety dwell,
His needs by Love supplied;
His words and deeds God's glory tell,
God is his guard, his guide!

God's will for man is health and peace,
No birth nor death he knows,
For man lives not in dust nor flesh,
And knows not of their woes.
