It is with a thankful heart I offer my testimony about the healing that has come into my life through Christian Science.
One physician had told me that I had cancer, and another that he had done all that could be done and that I should have to consult a specialist. After two weeks of Christian Science treatment, however, no signs of the disease remained or ever returned. Influenza was healed with one treatment. The following morning I arose and prepared breakfast for seven people. My daughter's eyes, which were so swollen from the bite of a spider that they were almost closed, were healed in one treatment after a physician had said that lancing would be necessary. Traits of character have been changed; grief at the passing of dear ones has been lightened. During the so-called depression much of my property was swept away, but through the help of a practitioner much of the bitterness has been removed and I have been able to get work.
While grateful for my first healing, I was so disappointed that other healings had not come also that I turned away from Science for many years; but I had to come back, and for sixteen years I have needed no medicine, having found that Mind alone is the Physician.
