Eight years ago I became interested in Christian Science, and since then we have experienced many healings in our home. My son was healed of a tendency to take cold easily, usually resulting in pneumonia. On account of illness he was out of school for nearly two months. After his healing he was able to complete his studies and graduated with his class. He was also healed of an infection of his lower teeth. The X-ray showed this condition; and the dentist said that six teeth would have to be extracted and the jawbone treated for some time. The boy asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner. At this time he was in bed, suffering great pain. When I returned from the office of the practitioner I found he had been healed instantly of all pain. He arose, dressed, and went back to his work. In two days the abscess broke and the healing was complete. It was not necessary to have the teeth extracted, and he has not had any more trouble with them. That was over two years ago.
Through Christian Science I have been greatly relieved of fear for my children. My husband was healed of an injured toe. A specialist told him the bone was infected. While this healing was slow, we are grateful for the lesson of patience it taught us. His foot is completely healed, and he is able to be on it all day at work.
