MOON TYPE EDITION OF "CHRISTIAN HEALING"

From the July 1935 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Announcement is made by the Publishers of Mrs. Eddy's works of the publication of "Christian Healing," a sermon delivered by Mrs. Eddy in Boston, in the Moon system of type for the blind. It is worthy of note that this is the first religious work to be produced in Moon type in the United States. The plates were made and the book embossed in the plant of the Braille Institute of America, in Los Angeles, for the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy.

This new book for the elderly blind appears in a volume of 56 pages, embossed on both sides of the page. The first page following the title page gives the complete Moon alphabet, thereby furnishing a chart with which to teach this simple system of reading by the finger. The Moon characters are formed of letters or parts of letters of our English capitals, and so heavily embossed as to render them tangible to those who are unable to distinguish the punctiform characters of the Braille system of type for the blind.

The new Moon type edition of "Christian Healing" is bound in serviceable black Buckeye paper covers, saddle stitched, with title in gold on cover, price 60 cents a copy. Orders and remittances therefor should be sent to Harry I. Hunt, Publishers' Agent, One, Norway Street, Boston, Massachusetts.
