I was confined to my bed for nearly twenty years with what the physicians called female trouble in its severest form. Some days I was not able to sit up. Other diseases followed, such as stomach and heart trouble, and a severe cough. I had also been subject to severe nervous headaches since childhood.
After the physicians had told me that I had only a very short time to live, I heard of Christian Science for the first time, and I was taken to a Christian Science practitioner. After the first treatment I went downstairs to my meals. After two weeks' treatment I went home a well woman. I began doing all my housework and felt that I was one of the happiest women in the world. Since then I have had many marvelous healings, one of which took place at a Christian Science lecture a few years ago. The half can never be told of the blessings which I have received in Christian Science. Each day I am more grateful for the blessed truth, revealed to us by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. I am grateful for being a member of The Mother Church, also of a branch church, and for the blessed privilege of class instruction. I am indeed grateful.—Muskogee, Oklahoma.
