It is hard to find words to express my gratitude for the help I have had in overcoming fear in many forms and worry, which seemed to be a part of me; also for the help it has been in rearing a little son. He is now eight years old and has never used material remedies. Christian Science is helping me to overcome a false sense of responsibility for his future and has given me a knowledge of God, Love, which I can also explain to him.
One healing that stands out in my experience is that of chronic constipation of about ten years' duration. I was healed in three or four treatments by a practitioner whom I had never met. That healing took place eight years ago and has been permanent.
I am grateful for the unselfish life of Mrs. Eddy and for her explanation of the Bible, which had meant so little to me before, because it seemed so hard to understand.
