Testimonies of Healing

The spirit of these comforting...

From the August 1935 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"And o'er earth's troubled, angry sea
I see Christ walk,
And come to me, and tenderly,
Divinely talk."

The spirit of these comforting words from the poem "Christ My Refuge" (Poems, p. 12) by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, came to me some twenty years ago when I was ill, discouraged, and in fact dismayed dismayed at the unhappy aspect that seemingly lay before me. The Christ came to me, through Christian Science, and tenderly, divinely talked, so that since then life has been indeed well worth the living.

For all the wonderful experiences that have come to me through our revered Leader's consecration of thought and unselfish spirit in sharing the revelation of Truth which came to her, and which is set forth in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and her other writings, my gratitude is indeed most profound
