Testimonies of Healing

One morning in the spring of...

From the March 1943 issue of The Christian Science Journal

One morning in the spring of 1910, my husband came home and told me of this experience. He said that early in the evening one of the men came into the office and asked if he might use the telephone. He looked so ill he was told he could go home, but he said he only wished to use the telephone, and after calling a Christian Science practitioner he sat down for a short time and then returned to his work and remained the rest of the night. This so impressed my husband that he called a practitioner into our home the following day. That was my first introduction to Christian Science, which has proved to be the greatest blessing that has ever come my way.

When I look back over the many wonderful demonstrations in our home, I feel so humble and grateful I cannot find words to express my gratitude.

I recently passed through a great sorrow and when I began to feel the presence of divine Love a great sense of peace and calm came over me. I could fill several pages with healing experiences. One that is outstanding to me is the healing of a broken wrist. I was given plenty of advice and told by my family, who were not in Science, that I might lose the use of my arm; but with the help of a practitioner my arm is as sound as it ever was.
