After many years of reaping the benefits of Christian Science and receiving much encouragement from reading testimonies in the Christian Science literature, I submit this expression of gratitude, hoping that it may in some measure bless those who read it.
Having been left in a deplorable condition by repeated sunstroke, and receiving no help from doctors, I spent many years in bondage to fear. Upon reading the announcement in our daily paper of a Christian Science lecture, I felt that nothing could keep me from attending. I went, and received my healing while listening to the lecturer's wonderful message. Since that night, nearly twenty years ago, Christian Science has been my only help in trouble.
A year and a half later I witnessed the healing of a severe case of asthma forty minutes after I called a practitioner for my wife, who had suffered for more than two years, under the care of physicians. Since then our family of five members has relied on Christian Science alone for healing many kinds of ills—both for ourselves and for our farm animals.
