I am very grateful for Christian Science, grateful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, who was so courageous and unselfish in giving us Science and Health, the "key" which has unlocked the treasures of the Bible for all mankind.
Since my first testimony was published many years ago, sick headaches have been healed. Influenza, pneumonia, and many other physical ills have also been healed, sometimes with the help of a Christian Science practitioner and sometimes by my own understanding of Truth.
I am very grateful for divine Love's protection in the case of a burn. As I attempted to light the gas under the water heater, the flame flashed in my face, almost blinding me. I declared the truth as we are taught in Christian Science, keeping in thought "the scientific statement of being," as given by our Leader on page 468 of our textbook, until the pain was gone. My eyebrows and hair were badly burned but my face was not even blistered. I was so grateful for this healing that I expressed my gratitude for it at the Wednesday evening testimony meeting that week.
