"O Sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory" (Ps. 98:1).
It is with great joy and a deep sense of gratitude that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science. Jesus declared (Matt. 18:3), "Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven;" and our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, teaches us that it is through purified thinking that we enter into the reign of harmony or heaven.
Before coming into Christian Science, I had been subject to a hereditary disease, for which I had been treated medically without being cured. I had to learn in Christian Science that since God, divine Mind, is our Father-Mother, disease has no foundation in reality, and that we can inherit only good. Mrs. Eddy tells us in Science and Health (p. 406): "The Science of being unveils the errors of sense, and spiritual perception, aided by Science, reaches Truth. Then error disappears." I therefore had to wait until spiritual perception enabled me to see the truth clearly, and to perceive that the Principle of healing is just as much present, and just as usable, as is the principle of mathematics.
