It is with heart filled with gratitude that I wish to share some of the many experiences of healing in our family which were brought about, with the help of a practitioner, through the understanding and application of Christian Science.
It was in a time of extremity, when a loved member of our family was told that materia medica could do no more for her, that we heard of Christian Science. A friend, who had been healed of a stomach disorder through Science, asked us if we would like to try it. We did this, and saw such proof of its healing efficacy that we were deeply impressed. However, we were then members of a church of another denomination, and since everything seemed to move along smoothly we did not turn again to Christian Science until seven years had passed.
At this time our young son was stricken with whooping cough and, being able to keep but little food in his stomach, was in a very bad condition. The doctor said he was doing all he could, but the condition did not improve. We became desperate and turned unreservedly to Christian Science. We got in touch with a Christian Science practitioner and asked for treatment for our son. He was instantaneously healed.
