I am indeed grateful for Christian Science. Nothing is too small, nor can anything be too difficult, for the right application of this Science to heal. It has met my every need for many years.
When a rather new student of Christian Science, I was taken to a hospital for an immediate major operation. The operation was considered a success, but the physician said I could not live more than forty-eight hours. I then requested that a practitioner be called at once. From then on no drugs were used. Pills were placed on my table daily, but were never taken. I was lifted out of this death sentence and completely healed in a short time, to the amazement of the hospital staff and three specialists. I walked out of the hospital and drove my car thirty miles the following day.
At another time I was healed of what appeared to be poisoning. This condition seemed serious. All one night and the following morning I had a high temperature and was delirious most of the time. Christian Science treatment was given that day, and I was healed within a few hours. That night at eight o'clock I was on a train headed for a town nearly three hundred miles away, where I had a business engagement the next morning.
