All that I have, dear Father, comes from Thee:
Abundant health, a home, and loving friends,
Both useful work and happy times of rest,
With quiet hours in which to watch and pray.
How safe these are in Thy protecting care,
How unassailable and ever sure.
Why do I look without for more of Thee,
For more of Thy unfailing tenderness,
When gifts from Thee come always from within,
From Thy great love poured into consciousness
Which fills each heart with joyous, glad refrain?
Our Master told us this in simple words
That lift us high above both need and doubt,
'"The kingdom is within you"—blessed thought
That stills the tumult and restores our peace.
