My introduction to Christian Science came one Sunday when we visited a Church of Christ, Scientist, and let our children attend the Sunday School as visitors. The following Sunday we asked the children where they wanted to go. They said, "To that Christian Science Sunday School, because we learn about God there."
Having been in bondage to so-called medicals laws, our family was eager to learn of some other method of healing; so we began the study and application of Christian Science. Our growth was slow, but a good foundation was laid, one which later proved unshakable. We have had instantaneous healings and others that required longer periods of study, but there never has been an unsolved problem when we have placed complete reliance on God knowing that with Him "all things are possible" (Mark 10:27).
Through the help of loving and patient practitioners unlovely traits of character and financial problems were overcome. Our son was healed of deafness, our daughter of crossed eyes, and my husband of appendicitis. With each proof of Christian Science we felt closer to God.
