It is with great joy that I express my thanks for Christian Science, revealed to us by our dear Leader, for through her writings she has taught me how to think spiritually.
Before I had commenced the study of Christian Science, a sister very dear to me had passed on. I had ceased attending an orthodox church and had become, as I thought, an atheist, for I wished to have nothing to do with a God so cruel as to afflict my sister and deprive me of her company.
When I was conversing with a friend one day, the two words "Christian Science" were mentioned. These struck a note in my consciousness; but when I inquired further of my friend regarding this religion, she said she knew nothing about it. For four years these two words were embedded in my thought. But the seed was sown, and the Christ was leading.
