People who attend Christian Science lectures sometimes want printed copies; but not all lecturers have their lectures printed. To avoid the waste of time and postage involved in writing for lectures that are unobtainable, those who want them should first inquire of branch church clerks whether the lecture is in print. Lecturers will support this plan by making a point of advising clerks in advance whether or not printed copies of their lecture are available. If a lecture is in print, the current price is one dollar.

Many branches of The Mother Church in smaller towns have received financial assistance from the Mangels Fund since the fund was first announced to the Field in 1973. Grants from the Mangels Fund have aided in the purchase or building of edifices, in alterations or additions to present facilities including Sunday Schools and Reading Rooms, and in refurbishment projects.

This fund is still available to branches that may need assistance for projects of this type. A requirement of the fund is that the branch be located in a town with a population no greater than 20,000.
