Writing for the periodicals

From the September 1985 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Outside sources can sometimes provide useful insights or describe effectively a particular situation you're planning to write about. Readers appreciate fresh reference points and new examples. Since we have to verify all references and factual data, there is a way you can help: if you quote from or refer to a particular source, please include photocopies of the title page, copyright page, and quoted pages with your manuscript whenever possible.
