This testimony is an outcome of my increasing gratitude in raising our two children.
When I was a young mother, my mental and physical difficulties led me to the study of this Science. A new friend, a Christian Science practitioner, prayed for me at my request. As a result I was healed of a troublesome neck pressure, which a dentist had said was a goiter.
The most wonderful peace came when Christian Science answered questions that had always tormented me, questions about the seeming pointlessness of material existence. Discovering the reason for being—to express God-derived spiritual qualities—gave me new energy and dominion over depression. I so appreciated feeling a greater closeness to the Bible and to Christ Jesus' teachings.
