As A Lifelong Christian Scientist, I can no longer put off sending in my contribution testifying to Truth's healing power. One day in January of 1996, after coming home from my usual four-mile walk, I was unusually tired. In a matter of days it became very difficult even to move around. I asked a Christian Science practitioner to treat me through prayer, and she readily agreed. She assured me that God's healing power is just as ever present and effective as our family had always proved it to be in the past. She asked me to sing hymns, and one I clung to was this one from the Christian Science Hymnal (No. 139). The second verse includes these lines:
My healing
was complete.
I could run and
even dance freely.
Who walks with Love along the way,
Shall talk with Love and Love obey;
God's healing truth is free to all,
Our Father answers every call ....
