I Love To See how our study and prayer bring us closer to God, to understand His all-power and error's no-power.
One winter we joined another family for an afternoon of tobogganing. On one downhill run the toboggan hit a bump and I took a hard landing. It was difficult for me to get up, and the pain was so extreme that we had to excuse ourselves from dinner with our friends and drive home. I tried to make myself as comfortable as possible in bed. But when I got up at one point, I lost consciousness.
This caused me to become fearful, so I called a practitioner for treatment. I studied and prayed all that evening and again in the morning. My desire was "to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord" (II Cor. 5:8).
