Poems

Still Within

From the October 2001 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Still within, God's voice is heard.
A symphony of thoughts plays beauty there.
My spirit awakens to hear melodies
Of my inner self.
My mind is fertile, the soil prepared by patient waiting,
Ready to receive the creative Spirit that gives me
breath.
I am content,
Still within.
In reverence I give thanks for His voice.
In humility I kneel before the altar of Love.
Again, I have been fed by His Word.
Amen.
