My 12-year-old nephew recently witnessed sexual behavior on his school bus. It seems that everywhere kids turn they have sex pushed on them. How can I help my nephew deal with what's not appropriate?
Children and teenagers don't have to be like sponges and just soak up everything they see or hear. It might be helpful to tell your nephew that, regardless of what he saw, there is something about him that can't be spoiled or harmed—his spiritual individuality. It's who he really is—the self that God loves and knows.
