who grew up in Nairobi, Kenya, believes that Christianly scientific prayer has the capacity to free one from fear and resentment. "And such prayer redefines how each of us can help to change the world," says Mr. Ajania. An educator who holds advanced degrees in media and education from MIT and Harvard, Ajania heads up the Brick Project, a nonprofit quest to build global school communities. I called him recently to get his take on how Christian Science could accomplish more for humanity and what it would require of us.

Christian Science has taught me that man can never be separated from God, because we exist only as His reflection. Therefore, the dignity and majesty of man is not a human condition, but a divine inheritance.
