Letters & Conversations

LETTERS

From the May 2008 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Wow! I'm nearly speechless over the February 2008 Journal ["Discover God as Soul"]. It covers in depth my favorite synonym for God. I've never written a letter of thanks for any periodical before—until now (as great as most are). Amazingly, every single article in this issue overflows with insightful healing ideas that are wonderfully inspiring. In fact, after I finished this Journal it was so underlined and marked up with notes, I had to get a new copy for my husband to read! While studying with such amazing unfoldment about Soul, I had a feeling of effortlessly bathing in lightness, soaking in this outpouring of God's light and tender care.

Each article is a "keeper." Betty Jenks' "No Why to a Lie" [p. 50] was a standout (and I still read it daily). It supports me in not feeling alone or helpless in the midst of seemingly (sometimes discouragingly) strong battles with tenacious mortal beliefs. Jenks writes with understanding, through her own experiences, and her thoughts give renewed and encouraging trust and faith, needed for healing. Also, "Soular Power" by Jeffrey Hildner [p. 38] was extremely comforting with a unique outlook. And Laurance Doyle's Scientists of Reality" [p. 28] is so beautifully, profoundly, and precisely phrased with inspirational, uplifting, and healing concepts.

So, thank you all from my heart!
