Admission of new members of The Mother Church takes place twice yearly at a regular business meeting of the Christian Science Board of Directors, as is required in the Church Manual. On November 6, 2009, while they were visiting the Indonesian field, at approximately 8:00 p.m. local time in Jakarta, Indonesia (8:00 a.m. in Boston), the Board voted to admit new members to our worldwide church family.
