There’s a humorous book titled All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, by Robert Fulghum. He shares life lessons he learned in primary school and on the playground. Simple lessons, such as showing how sharing and treating others with respect provided a firm foundation for making sound choices as he grew into adulthood.
As I thought about the book, I thought that if I were to write something similar, I’d probably title it All I Really Need to Know I Learned in the Christian Science Sunday School.
In Sunday School, I learned that God is Love and loves me. When my parents divorced and my mother later remarried, it was a difficult time for me, and I found comfort in knowing that God always had been and always would be my real Mother-Father, caring for and protecting me.
