I have always loved living life spontaneously and being led by the Christ to wherever I’m needed. What unfolded to me over the course of a few months, not too long ago, was that the willingness to be shepherded involves spiritual intuition and prayer, and faith in the Shepherd. When we trust the Shepherd to guide us, we’ll find opportunities to help our neighbor, as I discovered in a series of events that began one Sunday morning.
It was that morning I attended a service at a church in downtown Los Angeles at the invitation of a friend. It was a Christian Science church I had never before attended, but not far from where I live.
