In August of 2002, while on a camping trip, my husband and I took our children for a hike in the woods of an island that we had reached by ferry boat. We were enjoying the hike, but we soon found ourselves in a boggy section of forest. Suddenly, I felt something prick my hand, and within seconds it became apparent that we had disturbed a nest of wasps and were now being swarmed.
We started running, but the wasps pursued us. Our young son was screaming, as he was covered with wasps, which were stinging him from head to toe. When we had finally outrun the wasps, I comforted the children and reassured them of our safety.
I asked my husband for his cell phone to call a Christian Science practitioner, and I explained our situation to her while my husband continued to walk ahead with the children. The practitioner told me that man could never fall from his high estate, nor could he fall into error.
