No time is a bad time to deepen our hope and faith in our loving Father-Mother, God. But the Easter season in particular invites us to remember the tremendous good that came out of the world’s attempt to bury Jesus and his message. Right when it appeared that evil had succeeded in overcoming all of the good he had taught and demonstrated, Jesus emerged victorious over death itself. Christ, the true idea of God, Life, had proven once and for all that good is ultimately, always, the victor over evil.
Mary Baker Eddy, the Founder of Christian Science, wrote, “[Jesus’] three days’ work in the sepulchre set the seal of eternity on time” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 44). His resurrection assures us that God’s promise of salvation is real and present. Jesus is our Way-shower. The feature article in this issue discusses the importance of understanding this and allowing his teachings, as explained by Christian Science, to show us the way to health and harmony. So many blessings flow from following Jesus as we work out the challenges that face us. As articles in this issue point out, those blessings include discovering what brings about real transformative healing, seeing our eternally unbroken relationship to God, and overcoming a limited sense of life and health.
