The 1973 Normal Class The Normal class of the Board of Education was held early in December. In compliance with the By-Law, Article XXX, Section 1, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, this class convenes on the first Wednesday of December in each third year.

This announcement pertains to those who are listed in the card section of The Christian Science journal and/or the card section of any edition of The Herald of Christian Science. Starting with January 1974 issues, there will no longer be a provision to make changes free of charge when cards are renewed by churches, societies, Reading Rooms, practitioners, or nurses.
New items in the Reading Room Five new items—a long-play record, two pamphlets, a book, and a Christmas card —are now on sale in Christian Science Reading Rooms. The stereo record, titled "The Glad Sound," contains 15 hymns about Christ Jesus which progressively unfold his life and work.
