EDITORIAL AND OTHER NOTICES

The Annual National Convention of Christian Scientist Associations will be held at Cleveland, Ohio, June 12 and 13, 1889. A full attendance is desired.

Copies of the Journal will be furnished to Scientists who order for gratuitous circulation at one dollar per dozen. This price is less than the cost of issue.

NEWS FROM ABROAD

The Nixon Case. —The following account, from a participant, of a recent case in Dakota, that has been extensively reported through the secular press, will be read with interest.

The Expression Of Opinion —critical, as well as commendatory —of friends is invited, on the new departures made in the present and the February number of the Journal in point of "make up" and general arrangement, as well as on positions taken on points of general interest to the cause of Science. SPECIAL TO SUBSCRIBERS

For three months from date the following premiums are offered for the names of new subscribers to the Christian Science Journal. For the names of two new subscribers, and four dollars, one dollar's worth of any of the works advertised in this magazine will be forwarded to the sender.

CHRISTIAN SCIENTIST ASSOCIATION

ANNUAL MEETING. The Christian Scientist Association of the Massachusetts Metaphysical College held its annual meeting for the first time in their new quarters, the Christian Science Reading Room, Jan.

NEWS FROM ABROAD

The Church of Christ (Scientist), of New York City, was organized in the fall of 1887. Services were held nearly every Sunday until late in the spring of 1888.

PRIMARY AND NORMAL CLASSES

Hereafter no students can be admitted to Massachusetts Metaphysical College Normal Class who have not passed through the Primary Class.
