FOR YOUR INFORMATION An invitation to branch churches near military installations Christian Science Ministers for Armed Services Personnel are civilians appointed by their branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, to minister to active-duty service personnel and their families at military installations. Branches in the United States that have one or more military installations near them may wish to appoint a member to serve as a Christian Science Minister.

Many branches are now holding the Thanksgiving service at a time different from their Sunday service.
