The March issue of The Christian Science Journal will focus on spiritual healing. It will carry several articles on healing as practiced in Christian Science, a full report on the second Harvard Medical School conference on "Spirituality & Healing in Medicine—II" in Boston, and the text of the talk given at the conference by Virginia S.

With continued emphasis on the mission, purpose, focuses, and current priority objectives of the Church of Christ, Scientist, Annual Meeting 1997 will convene on Monday, June 2, at 1:30 p. m.

Through its many channels, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, The Mother Church, comforts us; through the Church Manual’s Rules and guidelines it upholds our sometimes faltering footsteps. Recently, I felt The Mother Church had a blessing just for me.

If you are a college student who is looking for an intern experience that meets your school's academic requirements and that connects you to the mission and purpose of The Mother Church, you may want to consider interning at The Mother Church. The possibilities include: • Marketing • Broadcast journalism • Newspaper journalism • Financial analysis • Communications • International/multilingual • Youth or college/university activities • Membership/branch churches • Print design and print production • Sales • Broadcast production • Computer operations/computer support Internships are available in The Christian Science Publishing Society; the Office of the Publisher of the Writings of Mary Baker Eddy; and the Office of the Clerk.

The Normal class of the Board of Education, which was provided for by Mary Baker Eddy, will be held in December 1997, in accordance with Article XXVI, Section 4, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mrs. Eddy.

We welcome readers to submit testimonies of Christian Science healing for publication. These accounts should be concise and persuasive, demonstrating clearly that Christian Science heals.

Ways in which you can give Members and friends often ask how they can contribute to the needs of The Mother Church —in addition to the annual per capita tax and ongoing donations —both now and in the future. The Gift Services staff of the Treasurer's Office can help you learn more about different types of gift arrangements including Life Income Gifts, current gifts of appreciated assets (such as securities or real estate), or gifts created through your will.

In October, two new titles were added to the Twentieth-Century Biographers Series about Mary Baker Eddy. The first is an Amplified Version of Irving C.

For the first time, we expect to print the per capita tax form in a variety of languages. In addition to English, this form will be available in Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish.
