In the Manual of The Mother Church, Mary Baker Eddy provides for the continuity of her teaching through the establishment of the Board of Education. Article XXIX, Section 2, states: “Loyal Christian Scientists’ pupils who so desire may apply to the Board of Education for instruction; and if they have practised Christian Science healing successfully three years and will furnish evidence of their eligibility therefor, they are eligible to enter the Normal class.

Funds are available for benevolence grants from the trust established under Clause 8 of Mary Baker Eddy’s will. These funds are devoted to the primary purpose of “more effectually promoting and extending the religion of Christian Science as taught by [Mary Baker Eddy].
It is a joy and a privilege for me to share news of today’s admission of new members. Admission takes place at a regular business meeting of the Christian Science Board of Directors and is required in the Church Manual.

Dear Members and Friends: Our worldwide membership had the opportunity to attend online the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church on June 8, exploring the theme, Our duty to God, to our Leader, and to mankind . The meeting included reports from the Officers of the Church, as well as Field Reports showing how we are able to bless and heal in our individual lives and as a collective Church.
Dear Members and Friends, We love hearing from so many of you in response to The Mother Church’s invitation to Annual Meeting on June 8, 2020. Consequent to the restrictions on travel and gatherings that we’re all experiencing this spring due to the pandemic, the decision has been made to conduct Annual Meeting 2020 online only.
At Annual Meeting 2020, Barbara Vining, CSB, will be leaving her position as Editor of The Christian Science Journal, Sentinel, and Herald. She is looking forward to being able once again to devote her full time to the practice and teaching of Christian Science.

Dear Friends, We are pleased to announce a change on the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society. On January 26, 2020, Lyon Osborn rotated off the Board of Trustees, and on January 27, David Hohle, CSB, joined Robin Hoagland, CSB, and Michael Fish, CSB, who are currently serving as Trustees.
