Dear Members and Friends,
It is a joy and a privilege for me to report the admission of new members of The Mother Church! These newest members are committing to what Mary Baker Eddy referred to as “the greatest and holiest of all causes” (Miscellaneous Writings 1883–1896, p. 177). This Cause unites us in our love for God and for all humanity. May each one of us be inspired to live the healing power of Christ, Truth, as scientific Christians in the 21st century.
Admission takes place at a regular business meeting of the Christian Science Board of Directors as outlined in the Church Manual. The Board voted to admit new members to our worldwide church family, with applications received in English, French, German, Igbo, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish from the following locations: Angola, Argentina, Australia, Benin, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, South Africa, Spain, Togo, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States of America, and Uruguay.
