Dear Fellow Members and Friends, Our loved Clerk of The Mother Church, Suzanne Riedel, has asked to return to her practice and teaching of Christian Science in Colorado this summer. Suzanne has brought inspired direction, spiritual alertness, and a global embrace to the Clerk’s Office during the last three and a half years.

We are pleased to announce a change on the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society. On January 1, 2018, Margaret Rogers stepped off the Board of Trustees, and Robin Hoagland joined Scott Preller and Lyon Osborn on this Board.

Dear Church family, Something life-changing happened on the way to a church service. Two friends stopped to talk with a disabled man asking for money.

Dear Fellow Member, As we look out from our office windows these days, we’re seeing extensive and unusual activity. Needed renovations to The Mother Church edifices are in full swing.

Dear Members and Friends, It is a joy and a privilege for me to share news of today’s [November 3] admission of new members. Admission takes place at a regular business meeting of the Christian Science Board of Directors and is required in the Church Manual.

We invite the whole Christian Science Field to prayerfully support the formation and successful teaching of Normal Class 2018. You might remember that we issued a similar invitation to you in 2015.

A Christian Science lecture is about healing. It’s about healing of all kinds, from physical healing and a whole new sense of what’s possible, real, and good, to hearts set on fire for the power of God uplifting all humanity.

Dear Church family, As Rich Evans, CSB, steps into his new role as a member of the Christian Science Board of Directors on May 1, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin E. Ness, CS, to succeed Rich as the Manager of the Committees on Publication.

Dear Fellow Members and Friends, With great gratitude for the continuity of good, the Christian Science Board of Directors extends heartfelt thanks to Lyle Young, CSB, who stepped off the Board at the end of April to return to his loved home base in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. On May 1, we welcomed Richard Evans, CSB, to serve on the Board.
