A few months ago I was at a Wednesday testimony meeting at The Mother Church, and the readings centered on the theme of following God. But as I listened, I realized there was another dimension to the message, as well.

In today’s demanding times, people are yearning to find answers to challenging problems. The surety, strength, regeneration, peace, love, and healing that so many are seeking imbue the Christian Science publications.

“You’re not eating?” I can’t even count the number of times I heard that question during my first few years of high school. And I dreaded answering it—mostly because it was difficult to explain just how hard the simple task of eating had become for me.
