How prophecy lifts persecution

One wonders how the Christians at Damascus prayed as the persecutor Saul approached. The Bible, of course, doesn't say, but we have evidence that their prayers were effective.

Have you ever been willing to fill an office in your branch church, such as an executive board member or Reader, but felt you couldn't because you lacked experience or a certain level of education? I have! However, if I'd continued to accept that limitation, I could not have served God and the Cause of Christian Science as fully as I have over the years. Writing with "wisdom, economy, and brotherly love"

Have you ever felt your heart sink when you received a rejection letter for an article you had submitted? Some of us have. If we want to write for the Christian Science periodicals and yet have struggled with revisions or rejections, perhaps it would be good to consider some spiritual helps for writing.

Not long ago I gave a current copy of The Christian Science Monitor to a friend who has a keen interest in his family, his business, and world events. He recalled that he'd seen copies of the Monitor during his college days and thanked me for bringing it to his attention.
