Regardless of its nature or tenacity, evil is a misconception, unreal. Proving it to be so is an inescapable Christian demand.

When we experience a sore trial or testing time we can confidently put our case in God's hands. We can meet the challenge with the assurance that God's law is always in operation, and that discord cannot prevail when Truth is understood.

In a letter to The Christian Science Board of Lectureship Mrs. Eddy speaks of its members in these terms: "Spiritual heroes and prophets are they whose new-old birthright is to put an end to falsities in a wise way and to proclaim Truth so winningly that an honest, fervid affection for the race is found adequate for the emancipation of the race.

"God is my life!" The recognition of this fact should be made daily, even hourly, not just in those moments of extreme stress or fear. This acknowledgment is a surrender to the all-encompassing law of Life, God, that protects and saves man.

Do we realize what a privilege it is to teach young people the truth that frees? We obey the commandment "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy" Ex. 20:8.

Again and again prayerful reliance on God in the light of the teachings of Christian Science has brought healing quickly and permanently. Sometimes, however, a devoted follower of Christ Jesus' teachings may struggle for months seeking healing for a particular problem that has not yielded to prayer.
