Inability to reach decisions has been described as a state of hell. At the very least it is frustrating, detrimental to one's self-confidence and success in life.

A horseman riding along a road came upon a sparrow lying on its back with its feet up. The rider stopped, went over to the sparrow, and asked, "Why are you lying on your back with your feet up?" The sparrow replied, "I heard the sky was going to fall today.

"What do you mean — the church within? Isn't church outside me? I go to church, I love the church, but I can do very little to affect the way the church is. I cannot determine the church's development because it is not in my control.

Physical healing in Christian Science should be the most natural thing in the world because this Science proves that man's real and only state of being is one of health and wholeness. When we are confronted with disease or any discordant situation and are praying for healing, we have at our disposal God's unchangeable laws for help.

Have you ever wished that the Master, Christ Jesus, were present today? Perhaps he might heal you of some longstanding physical ailment, or you might be one of the multitude who would see and hear him. If we find our thought drifting in this direction, we should ask ourselves whether we understand the real import of Jesus' mission.

All individuals and countries will come to know Christ as God's power with them. This fact gives us the courage and spiritual credibility to share with and heal non-Christians through Christian Science.

A Christian Science practitioner and a Christian Science nurse, working together in their respective roles, have the joy of bearing witness to the oneness and allness—the wholeness—of God in a manner that enfolds their patient in the seamless garment of Christian healing. Wholeness is what healing is all about.

The human heart yearns for peace and freedom. Only as we courageously reject disturbed thoughts and replace them with pure thoughts from God can we free ourselves and others from being mesmerized by mortality's sins.
