Prayer on behalf of The Mother Church and its present building program, as well as one's own branch Church of Christ, Scientist, or Christian Science college organization, is increasingly effective as it is better known that the true idea of Church is spiritual. Some years ago, before the doors were opened at a church where a Christian Science lecture was to be given, the crowd was lined up on the steps, across the pavement, and out to the street. Today Christianity urgently needs the love and support of every Christian Scientist. Most of all, it needs his clear discernment of the spiritual concept of Church, undergirding the human institution.

As Christian Scientists we witness with pride the expansion of effort evidenced by the Christian Science Church Center as The Mother Church moves forward with its programs of growing service to mankind. We realize that this growth is made possible by students and branch churches encircling the world.

Bedrock. Unshakable.

In this modern world of merchandising and advertising, millions of dollars and hundreds of hours are spent in creating a demand for a particular service or product. In the midst of this world, clamoring for attention, Sunday School teachers in Churches of Christ, Scientist, are imparting a knowledge valuable beyond any human commodity—the Science of Christianity.

We want to do worthwhile things; we want to truly accomplish. This is a right desire, and Christian Science can help us fulfill it.
