He succeeds because he has faith. He sees the attractiveness and possibilities of his concepts to meet the needs of others. He is confident he has something good to give.
The businessman who is a Christian Scientist knows that his right, spiritual knowing governs the outcome of all his activities. Because he knows that man reflects the divine Mind, he seeks to realize his own ability to think and act rightly. Mrs. Eddy refers to Jesus' statement "The kingdom of God is within you" and then says: "Know, then, that you possess sovereign power to think and act rightly, and that nothing can dispossess you of this heritage and trespass on Love. If you maintain this position, who or what can cause you to sin or suffer? Our surety is in our confidence that we are indeed dwellers in Truth and Love, man's eternal mansion."Pulpit and Press, p. 3; The "confidence that we are indeed dwellers in Truth and Love" is the starting point of the Christian Science approach to the healing of sin and sickness and of other forms of evil that afflict mankind.
