WHEN STARS APPEAR

Alone I climb, in earnest quest, The mount of vision's highest crest, Where winds of heaven sweep clean the skies— The pinnacle where meekness lies— And pause awhile, at God's behest. This realm of Love, where every guest May breathe in goodness, repossessed, Is God's domain.

THE AWAKENING

Angels at the tomb, saying, "He is risen," Bade us come to meet him here in Galilee. There by Calvary we had fled for fear of hate, Fled from love.

EVERLASTING LOVE

Love divine, forever hold me; Everlasting arms, enfold me; Let me know Thy power supreme forever here. By Thy forces strong surrounded I can never be confounded; I can meet life's daily conflict without fear.

ANGELS

Angels are with you now, O steadfast one! They thrust the sword of Spirit in your hand; They buckle winged shoes upon your feet; They lift your eyes above earth's dull despair To see the present glory of the Lord. Michael is leading—spiritual strength — And Gabriel, in ever-present love, Is showing forth his gentle ministry.

THE CHRIST IS HERE

We do not know the things God has in store, Nor glimpse as yet the thoughts that will unfold When tribulation, pain, and trials sore Give place to heaven's blessings, joys untold. What must we do to hasten the glad day When all obstructions—veils which hide our God— Are swept by Love's victorious hosts away, And thoughts uplift us far above the sod? The promise stands which centuries ago The Master gave to students standing by, "Lo, I am with you alway;" this to know Brings all we ever prayed for here and nigh.

A BROTHER'S NEED

In ancient times a love unselfed, replete, Inspired their hearts who bore the helpless one Through crowded lanes, aglare with tropic sun, That they might lay him at the Master's feet. Though ever-widening throngs debarred the door, They gained the roof top, then so tenderly Let down the couch, and heard that blest decree: Arise, be whole! Depart, and sin no more.

THE READING ROOM

Here in this quiet room a feast is spread; Here living waters are, and Life's own bread. The Word of God, is found for all unsealed.

"LOVE ONE ANOTHER"

" Love one another. " These words, ablaze with glorious light, Shine forth through darkened labyrinths of fear, Demanding demonstration of God's might.

MARY BAKER EDDY

She planted food for all the thinking world: Her words are seeds imbued with growing power; Their fragrant blooms are mentally unfurled, Their fruit is ripened in a thoughtful hour. She took these seeds from words the Master spoke, That those who have so long in hunger cried May eat the bread that he once freely broke, And find their longing amply satisfied.

REVELATION

I never knew what Love could be Until God was revealed to me, And in this oneness I did find That Love is Spirit, Life, and Mind; That Love is Principle and Soul, Is Truth revealing man as whole, As perfect as the Father is, Divinely blessed, forever His.
