If you have ever felt weary and unwell, afraid that you might have a serious disease, would you have thought it possible to pray and suddenly find yourself well?
The first time I read what Mary Baker Eddy wrote in her book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures about how to pray with the certain expectation of instantaneous healing, I was stunned. When I read that remarkable statement, I was only on page 14.
It reads: “Become conscious for a single moment that Life and intelligence are purely spiritual,—neither in nor of matter,—and the body will then utter no complaints. If suffering from a belief in sickness, you will find yourself suddenly well.”
